Guest Speaker LTJG Greg Saxon

USNA Class of 2003, RETD. USN, Head of Quality & Business Continuity, Schindler Elevator Corporation and USNA Blue & Gold Officer

LTJG Greg Saxon

Greg Saxon is a 2003 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and native son of New Jersey. Mr. Saxon attended Randolph High School where he played football and was named to the All-State and All-County teams his senior year. Upon graduation from high school, Greg attended Fordham University for 2-years prior to making the switch to the Naval Academy in July 1999. At USNA, Greg was a Quantitative Economics (Mathematics) Major, member of the 11th Company and the NAFAC Director (Brigade Lieutenant Commander). Upon graduation, Greg was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer (Signals Intelligence) and assigned to the National Security Agency (NSA/CSS) as a Direct Support Officer (Technical). Mr. Saxon successfully completed multiple tours to Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operational Iraqi Freedom/Enduring Freedom in support of Navy SEAL Team 8 and MARSOCOM 1. Mr. Saxon also earned a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University. He was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Rifle Marksmanship Medal and Pistol Marksmanship Medal. Mr. Saxon was retired from the Navy in 2006 due to injuries he sustained while on his last deployment. Since his military service, Greg has held numerous corporate leadership roles and most recently he is the Head of Quality and Business Continuity for the Schindler Elevator Corporation. Greg has been a Blue and Gold Officer for over 11-years, is a sitting member of the NJ Senate Academy Nomination boards and volunteers his time with various veterans and youth groups locally and nationally. Mr. Saxon lives in Morristown with his wife, Dr. Jill Saxon and their three children, Joel (17), Jonathan (15) and Rebekah (13).
